Collins' Clear-Type Press, London & Glasgow, 1930. First Edition, Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Undated by publisher but has colour plate of "The New 24 h.p. De Luxe Ford Saloon" which looks to be a Model A produced between 1929 and 1932 and "The All-British 20 h.p. Standard Envoy Six" of which a similar model is shown on the front cover of a 1931 issue of Autocar magazine. Darkened covers with illustration of red sports car on front and motorcyclist on yellow linen spine, rubbed spine-ends, scuffed board edges, split to webbing between front end-paper and half-title page and also between last page and rear end-paper, binding is otherwise sound. Pages have occasional light smudges are sometimes lightly foxed. Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press, London, 1926. Revised Edition, Hardcover, Illustrated by: M Sowerby. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Children's board book with green linen spine, illustrated paper-covered boards, contains 10 double-sided interior illustrated boards with full page picture on one side and decorated text on the other, boards are attached by linen hinges. The linen spine has frayed in places and been covered with clear adhesive tape over the whole of it, an additional piece of tape has been placed at the upper edge of the front cover. Covers are darkened, corners are scuffed and edges are worn. Binding is a little shaken but is secure. Mrs Strang's Annual was apparently published between 1915 and 1929 which suggest that this twelfth year publication was issued in 1926. First printing in this edition. No dust-jacket.
